New look Millionaire!

The NEW Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? launched on ITV1 in August 2010.

Not only does Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? have a new look, but we've cranked up the tension with the introduction of the big, bad clock! Contestants in the hot seat are under increased pressure to correctly answer questions before the time runs out! The first two questions have a 15-second time limit, then the following questions, up to and including the £50,000 question, have a 30-second limit.

And there's more! At the £50,000 safe haven, the new SWITCH lifeline is introduced. Contestants who don't like the question they're given, now have the option of "switching" it for another. However, players need to ensure they use their SWITCH lifeline carefully, because once a question has been switched, there's no going back!
